I will bring a mix of Danish culture, an open mindset and broad experience in driving strategic results in an international environment across borders in Europe and states in USA using the best practice with respect to the success of the team.
Being Danish I am member of the diverse European community. Working across border have led to an awareness of different requirements related to processes and regulations not to mention the culture in communication. I have executed leadership of teams in hierarchical and matrix organizations having had the role as line manager, as "competence" manager and as project/ program manager. In addition to this most of the team members were present at different geographical locations.
Driving strategic deliveries with lean teams in matrix organizations have taught me the importance of communication, awareness to build rapport with both team members and stakeholders, awareness to secure knowledge transfer not to mention our success when our customers feel empowered by the service we provide. Working with team members and being able to empower them is a privilege.
I prefer to use the dialogue as the tool to create an understanding of the big picture, to guide in how to solve challenges or when executing management. Using the dialogue has supported me in creating autonomous teams working together with a successful outcome.
