In this episode, Ajit Nawalkha has a conversation with Ashley Stahl about the importance of finding and listening to your core values to decide what career is meant for you. Transitioning from a regular 9-5 job to a more entrepreneurial career might not feel comfortable, but when we identify what we consider to be the most important principles in our life, that decision becomes easy.
“Sometimes we get stuck on the belief that we are where we’re supposed to be, and technically we are, but we’re also always in transition on our way to the next version of ourselves at any given time.” – Ashley Stahl
A very common obstacle faced by people making this transition nowadays is the self-doubt that comes with it. “Am I really following the path that I was supposed to follow? Is this new career the one that best suits me? Am I going to feel fulfilled if I choose this direction?” These are all questions that you might be thinking of right now; today Ashley addresses how you can answer them based on what is worth it for you in life.
“One of the biggest things that I continue to acknowledge is: you just can’t have change without loss – even if it’s a good change.” – Ashley Stahl
