3 Shifts To Double Your Coaching Business

1. Psychological Shift

Any big change you want to create in your life starts with your mind, so making sure your mind is aligned with your vision is the first, most important step.

Ask yourself these questions:

Do you have absolute clarity what it means to double your coaching business?
How does it look like economically?
What are your professional and personal boundaries going to be?

If you don't have absolute clarity on what it means to double your coaching business and how it would look like, your mind will struggle to put focus, intention, and attention towards making that vision a reality.

2. Strategic Shift

Once you have a clear vision and your mind is focused on it, it's time to set goals. Goal-setting is crucial for focus and making progress.

Break down your yearly goals into monthly goals, and then into weekly goals. And then, identify all the tasks that need to be achieved on a daily basis to achieve those goals.

This will ensure every action you take contributes to the overall goal. The more specific you can get, the easier it will be to take action and commit to it.

3. Tactical Shift

The easiest and most straight-forward way to double your coaching business is to increase your fees.

You might think, "Yes, obviously," but here's the trick...

A common mistake coaches make is they believe the best way to double their coaching income is just to straight up double their coaching prices. And although it may seem like an effective strategy, it doesn't really work in the real world.

Here's how you really want to approach this strategy...

How To Double Your Coaching Income

If you're just starting out and don't have enough rapport or results to prove your abilities as a coach, clients may not find a sudden price increase justifiable from the perspective of the value they're receiving, and might step away from re-enrolling with you for a longer coaching package.

However, if you gradually increase your coaching prices, it's a smoother transition that your clients will ease into without feeling overwhelmed by a sudden change.

The goal is to slowly change your client's perception of you and the value you are bringing them.

The question you want to ask yourself is,

"Every time I get a 'Yes,' can I charge 10% more?"

So if your current coaching fee is $100 dollars an hour, can you charge your next client $110?

Or if your coaching package price is $600 dollars a month, can you sell it as $660?

And increase it by 10% every single month. In just 12 months, you'll most likely surpass doubling your fees and overall coaching income.
